Effective team building is like making copies of yourself to scale up your business and have it running on autopilot! That should be your ultimate goal. At the end of the day the last thing you want to be is a slave to your business. I mean, the reason that you are going through all of this trouble to build an online money making machine in the first place is so that you have free time to do the things that you love, like spending time with your loved ones, watching your kids grow up and traveling the world. This element of your business provides the multiplication factor that can really boost your income while you do less and less over time. This can only be done by making copies of yourself via your team.

We as humans always need to know that we have some type of home base that we can always go back to in order to recharge, get new ideas and collaborate with our peers. That being said you should create a central Facebook Group page that would require membership to join (in other words only your team members will have access to this exclusive club). Inside this Facebook Group your team members can collaborate with you and among themselves where they can pose questions (where the team can answer those questions and you do not have to all the time) and you can have a library of training videos on technical stuff like how to setup autoresponders, how to build WordPress blog sites etc.
If you are not comfortable with putting all of your work into building an online community on Facebook where at any time they could change their policies and delete all of your hard work you can also create your own website with using a domain name of your choice as well.
In order to become a natural pro at effective team building you also need to be able to find a way to keep your team motivated every week because in this industry it takes a lot of work to start making a sustainable income and in the real world it is so easy to get distracted (and find excuses for not building our business) by family and our day job. You can accomplish this by have weekly conference calls with your team. In fact I strongly recommend that you have video conferencing sessions with your team every week where they can see you and and the level of interactions would be higher. In those sessions you can provide a mini training session on some aspect of the business or you can open up the floor to others who can share their successes, tips and tricks.
Lastly, if you are in an online business system where there are quarterly live events where thousands of other team members all congregate and see other successful Internet marketers get awards for their achievements, and see people just like themselves tell their rags to riches stories then that would be a very powerful motivator indeed.
You see, there are so many people out there with the latest and greatest system for making money online but the really authentic online businesses out there have real people who have real stories behind their successes where they leveraged systems to help them automate all of the boring technical stuff. People are generally motivated when they belong to a team of people that they can see and hear, people that they can collaborate with and even more importantly, when they see those very same people – who are the same as them – make money online because if they would say to themselves “If they can do it then I can too!”.
